Cookie Policy
Companion to the Privacy Policy.
15.1 What Cookies FitSwap Uses Today
FitSwap currently sets one type of cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in after you log in. It's strictly necessary for the Services to function — without it, you'd be signed out on every page load. This cookie is set by FitSwap directly (not by a third party), and isn't used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
15.2 What FitSwap Does Not Currently Use
FitSwap does not currently set advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies, or cross-site tracking cookies. Usage analytics (e.g. tracking that a swap was proposed or an item was viewed) are recorded server-side, tied to your account activity rather than to a browser-based tracking cookie.
If FitSwap adds a hosted analytics tool that sets its own client-side cookies, this policy — and, where required, a cookie-consent banner — will be updated before that tool goes live.
15.3 Managing Cookies
Because the session cookie is strictly necessary, blocking or deleting it will simply sign you out — there's no optional cookie category to opt out of at this time. Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies through their settings; consult your browser's help documentation for instructions specific to it.
15.4 Changes to This Policy
If FitSwap starts using additional cookies, this policy will be updated first, with the effective date reflected at the top of the page.
